Most companies develop programs concentrating on the classroom curriculum followed by the basics of maneuvering a vehicle. They tend to allow for 6 to 14 hours of behind-the-wheel experience believing if you know the rules and can maneuver the vehicle you will learn the rest through experience. After all, that is exactly how most of us learned in the past and we consider ourselves good drivers.
Driver Ed in a Box® believes today’s new drivers are faced with many more challenges than drivers 25 years ago. We have faster, smaller cars, more traffic, and more aggressive drivers not to mention much higher costs to repair vehicles.
We know our customers (over 50,000 to date) agree the answer is more time behind-the-wheel with the parent and family before the new driver is on their own. You have the entire permit time; we provide the tools to use during this period. Our log sheets lay out all the skills required and help you record your time spent on each lesson. Our unique mirrors take the tension off you having to stare at the student to watch their eye coordination or turn around to see the rear view. Our audio tapes and Parent Companion both provide instructional tips, all designed for in-car use.
All of our products are designed to relieve frustration, help you and the student stay focused and enjoy your time together. Most importantly, take your time because there is no rush. You work at your schedule, your speed. You will know when you're done and you will feel confident in all that you have learned. We all get better with experience but with Driver Ed in a Box® you have a tremendous head start. |
