Driver Ed In A Box® is for the parent/teen who:

How Does Driver Ed in a Box® Work?

First, we built the course from the ground up. The goal is to give the new teen driver the “Habits” of safe, collision free driving!

A note about commentary

During the classroom you will learn 89 Commentary terms (do not worry parents, you have the Glossary of commentary terms in your Parent Companion). Learn these terms and use them. They are linked to developing the habits of safe collision free driving. They also tell your instructor what you see, how you are reacting to it. It keeps things much calmer in the car when you are doing the talking rather than the parent asking DO YOU SEE….. OR…. ARE YOU STOPPING. By using the commentary they will know you see, you are reacting. Commentary is normally used in the professional setting training professional drivers (fleet drivers, truck drivers, etc.) This course is designed to teach you to be a professional driver. Today’s roads are hard on anyone who is not.
